Cheap adds up! This is not an opinion, this is fact. Let's say you're on vacation and are in Wally World, you see tons of souvenirs. .79c- $1.00- $1.50 immediately your like, yes! I'll get Mom this and Dad that and my niece's would love this. You run down the whole family and your friends; your cart isn't even full yet!! You shop some more, for yourself of course. Finally, shopping all done, your're at the check out and she says, "That's two hundred and six dollars." The jaw drops and you're like, WTH!!!! What did I just do? You swipe your card and realize that even though what you bought was cheap, cheap adds up!
In this blog I will put myself and my debt out there. Yes! You read right. I will open up my money woes in hopes that even one person will benefit from my mistakes. I will share true to life, personal experiences and the benifits or damages they have caused. I will let you know how my goal of being debt free is coming and the ups and downs of the debt roller coaster. If you're in the same boat as me, lets row together and keep each other from drowning. Life is hard enough with out traveling the road alone.
The first experience I shared was the Wally World experience. I was visiting my sister in Hawaii and that actually happened to me. It was that experience that started my change of life and it was my sister who gave me the idea for this blog. She has supported me through every thing I have ever done with "my money" and sometimes it was mine. I thank her for that. ****LOVE YOU CHICA!!!****
I hope you will come back and if there's some advice or new idea you can't use, but know someone who can, pass the word along. As one of my best friends said, "What good is having answers if you keep them to yourself?" This work has me super excited and I hope to help, "even just one person." ****THANKS****
